The client
Newcastle Startup Week was a premier event ran annually to highlight, showcase and inspire people into entrepreneurship and consider starting their own business.
The problem
The client wanted to generate an impact report, which consolidated insights, data and analysis about the impact Newcastle Startup Week had on attendees, the city, and in the wider region.
My role
As innovation associate, my role was to gather insights from past sponsors and advertisers through interviews to see what impact they believe Newcastle Startup Week has had.
The insights captured supported an academic survey which was the primary data source for the impact report.
My approach

Results
The impact report helped the business understand its impact. Data from surveys, and insights from advertisers and sponsors helped the business frame possible future events.
